Maintenance Services Offered
 | Spring Clean-Up: All debris accumulated over the winter will be removed from the lawn, flower | |
| beds, and decorative stone areas. | ||
| Edging & Mulching: This service provides a neat 3-5 inch deep edge with hand weeding and | |
| about 2 inches of bark mulch (customers choice) to be installed usually in late March or early April. Weeding is available weekly, biweekly, or upon request for an additional charge. | ||
| Lawn Maintenance: Lawns will be maintained at 3 to 3 ½ inches (unless otherwise requested). | |
| Cutting will start the 2nd or 3rd week of April and continue through the 2nd or 3rd week of November all weather permitting (approx. 30 cuts per season). This service will include the trimming of all areas along walks, curbs, fences, and planting beds where the mowers will not reach. All driveways, sidewalks, and porches will be air blown after each cutting. | ||
| Trimming & Pruning: A combination of trimming and pruning will be performed upon customer's | |
| request. The process varies in accordance with the customers desire or the look the customer wants maintained. Trimming will be done to maintain a neat plant shape. Pruning will be done for the purpose of regeneration of new plant development. This is usually done in June/July for the 1st session and in August/September for the 2nd session (or upon customer’s request). | ||
| Core Aerification: The purpose of this service is to stimulate the growth of the lawn at the root | |
| level. This procedure helps to get air to the roots along with helping the fertilizer and water get to the root system of your lawn. This aids in correcting a thatch problem and soil compaction. | ||
| Fall Cleanup: Leaves will be removed from all lawn areas, planting areas, mulch beds, decorative | |
| stone, and porch areas. This service is usually performed 3-4 times per season. All dying perennials will be broken off at the ground and all dead flowers removed. | ||
| Gutter Clean Out: This service is the removal of sticks, leaves, and other debris from your gutter | |
| system to enable your gutters to function properly. Service is usually completed after all leaves have fallen. | ||
| Snow Removal: Snow will be removed from the driveways, sidewalks, and porch areas. | |
| Salt/Calcium can be laid on these areas to prevent icy conditions (for an extra charge). |
